Jaapa Sadhana

This Thursday we are gathering for a very special practice on a very special day which will never repeat in our lives.

June 11th carries a convergence of conditions that occurs once in a human lifetime.

Thursday — the day of the Guru.

Ekadashi — the most sacred lunar day for practice, usually happens twice a month. But this is the second of two particularly powerful Ekadashis, Parama Ekadashi, that occur once every 3 years.

Jupiter exalted in Cancer — once every 12 years for a year. This time for about 9 months only.

Jupiter and Venus conjunct in Cancer — once every 12 years for less than a month.

Adhik Mas — the sacred intercalary month — ending June 15th. Occurs every 3.2 years.

According to AI calculations, this conjunction can happen once in every 27.900 years. “Within a human lifetime of 80 years, the statistical probability of being alive on such a day is approximately 0.00029% — or about 1 in 349 lifetimes.”

All of it happening on the same day, creating a powerful channel and antenna which is able to amplify the potency of the God’s hour prayer and a 4 hour mantra practice.

The dates from Parama Ekadashi up to and including the New Moon (June 11–15) are special days, according to scriptures, when negative karma is burned most intensely. Active spiritual practice and good deeds during these periods help remove many karmic blocks and problems and bestow a Great Blessing.

The scriptures state: "One who observes the days of Pancharatrika (5 special nights of the sacred convergence) will undoubtedly attain the heavenly realms. One who feeds a saint or exalted person well on these days receives the same benefit as if they had fed all living beings in the universe: celestials, humans, and even demons. Such is the power of these days."

We begin at 3:30am Tulum / 4:30am New York during the Amrit Vela -the ambrosial hours, when the veil is the thinnest.

4 hours of jaapa sadhana.

11×108 repetitions of:

Guru Guru Wahe Guru

Guru Ram Das Guru

This is the mantra of miracles, of grace, of divine protection.

In person 5 spaces in the Illuminara (weather permitting) - our yoga shala rising in the Mayan jungle, currently at the height of 7 meters, which is still being built.

Livestreamed for those joining from anywhere in the world.

Conscious donation based with all proceeds go to the construction of Illuminara, where this practice will live for years to come. 🌿

If you read till here, you can’t miss it. You have a date with the stars and your Higher Self!

DM to reserve last of the 5 in-person spots.

Join online here

Note: please register ASAP to receive instructions for preparation.

Please contribute your donation after sadhana here or Venmo

Note: GoFundme campaign is set in Mexican Pesos. $1 USD = 17 pesos. (For example, US $30 = 510 Mexican pesos, US $50 = 850 Mexican pesos, etc)

Sacred Pilgrimage in India

We invite you to join us this fall for a unique spiritual journey to one of the world’s oldest cultures and civilizations, India, during one of its most sacred holidays, Navaratri. During this special time, we will visit four Shakti Peethas in the northern part of the country and embark on a 13-mile (22 km) barefoot parikrama around the sacred Goverdhan Hill. We’ll conclude our journey with five days in Rishikesh, where we’ll take daily dips in the holy Ganges, consult with an Ayurvedic doctor for a unique check-up and treatments, visit sacred sites, and savor delicious Indian food in local restaurants with breathtaking views of the flowing Ganges.

This invitation is available for only 5 people, and three spots have already been taken! Are you coming?

Sat Nam!

We’re happy to welcome you to our Kundalini Yoga class. Each session begins with a short talk to set the tone and intention, followed by a kriya - a set of exercises designed with a specific purpose and benefits. After the kriya, we move into shavasana, accompanied by live gong, other instruments, or relaxing music. We conclude with a special Kundalini Yoga meditation to help anchor us in our bodies and intentions, setting a grounded tone for the day ahead.

Class length is 75-80 minutes.

Energy exchange is 200MXN for locals/ 350 MXN for visitors.

%10 of all our income is donated towards the charities worldwide.

We recommend practicing on an empty stomach and suggest that you avoid coffee before class - you might find you don’t even need it afterward! You’re welcome to have water, herbal tea, coconut water, or juice beforehand or during the class.

The gate at Ik Balam will open at 7:45 AM and close between 8:15 and 8:30 AM, so please arrive on time. After entering, you’ll have a short drive to Lot #17, marked Casa Balamaya, on the right side of the road. When parking, make sure your vehicle doesn’t obstruct traffic in either direction.

The door to the yoga space opens at 7:55 AM, following space cleansing. After class, the gate will reopen and remain open for 15 minutes to allow everyone to leave comfortably.
