WHO WE ARE
The story of Gyan Khand began in early 2024, when husband-and-wife team Rob and Yana Kippel moved to the jungle to bring their dream to life - living off-grid and fully immersed in nature. They settled into untouched land, living in a tent for seven months before moving into the bamboo home they built from the ground up, entirely by hand. As ordained interfaith ministers with deep experience in spiritual and inner work, the vision naturally evolved into creating a micro eco-retreat center dedicated to personal transformation.
“Having gone through many transformations ourselves - both individually and as a couple - we feel honored to guide and support others as they explore their own path toward a deeply fulfilling life.”
I am an ordained interfaith minister, spiritual guide and life coach, Kundalini yoga teacher, Vedic astrologist, Kriya yoga initiate, and follower of the Sanātana Dharma path. I live by the principle “Life revered is a life revealed”, honoring the sacredness of life in each moment.
I am a guide to conscious transformation, helping people who are ready for the next step in their journey to lose the ballast of the past, connect to the vision of the future and manifest it in the present with the help of a variety of instruments and teachings I have collected along my journey.

YANA KIPPEL
I am an ordained interfaith minister, a multidisciplinary visionary, and creator. I love to study the Universe-at-large and the natural world on Earth. I enjoy searching for ever higher perspectives on life's situations and trust in the flow and perfection of creation. I use the lenses of radical faith, radical acceptance, radical compassion and understanding in life, to illuminate perspectives leading to deep inner peace and harmony. On the physical plane, I really love using my imagination and hands to build beautiful things that inspire.

OUR VISION
Gyan Khand is still in its infancy and we have plans and dreams to continue to grow it to its full potential within its one hectare area over the coming years. In addition to having larger communal spaces for gatherings, many one-of-a-kind residential dwellings for long and short term stays, ceremonial spaces, amenities, we also envision growing significant amounts of organic food and medicinal plants, nature walks on the ground and up in the jungle canopy, abundant water features, and much more. All of what we do here is done with care and intention to inspire, with a sense of co-creation with nature to accent natural beauty, and to connect guests with a deep sense of peace, harmony, love, and connection. The space is growing organically and the vision evolves as we co-create with both nature and spirit. We warmly invite those who want to witness and be a participant in this journey and deeply appreciate your support.
