“A person is a person through other persons.
None of us comes into the world fully formed. We would not know how to think, or walk, or speak, or behave as human beings unless we learned it from other human beings. We need other human beings in order to be human. I am because other people are. A person is entitled to a stable community life, and the first of these communities is the family.”
Desmond Tutu
Recently, in conversation, a friend of mine who is currently in Bali, shared an observation about the local community there: people often gather not necessarily to build relationships, but to consume an experience - an event, a speaker, or knowledge. Even when contact details are exchanged, deeper connections rarely follow.
Her reflection struck a familiar chord. I recognized this pattern in our own local community. I share this not to place blame, shame, or guilt, but to acknowledge a shared challenge - one that exists across the globe. As Instagram-famous psychotherapist Esther Perel poignantly said of modern loneliness:
“You can have a thousand virtual friends and then no one to feed your cat.”
So, what can we do to shift this paradigm?
How can we deepen our relationships and make them enduring?
How can we cultivate a sense of belonging in a community where we feel truly cared for, where we can show up as our authentic selves?
As with any meaningful relationship, building community takes time and effort. As founders, we are here for the long game. Our collective experience with committed projects, studies, and initiatives has taught us: all great things take time and effort to mature.
And this will be the theme of our next gathering - one that feeds a few birds from one hand. 😉
🌱 Our Intentions for the Next Gathering:
To get to know members of our community on a deeper level
To share and learn from each other the wisdom gained through years of dedication to a craft, discipline, or path
To cultivate appreciation for commitment, self-discipline, and long-term vision in life
🌀 The Sharing Circle
Our sharing circle will have two parts, inviting voices from those with deep-rooted experiences - whether through mastering a skill, practicing a philosophy, pursuing a vocation, creating art, building a business, or walking a path of spiritual or personal growth.
Part One: For those with 5 -10 years of experience
Part Two: For those with 11+ years of experience
Between the two segments, we’ll offer some yogic and astrological perspectives on life and planetary cycles to provide context for this division and add depth to the reflections.
📝 Submitting Your Share
If you’d like to share, please submit your inquiry in the Humanity. Elevated WhatsApp group, including your chosen theme and years of experience, by Friday, August 1st. This will allow us to send you a few prompts and help organize the flow of the event.
Note: You may share in both segments if you have relevant experiences across different categories.
Each person will have 5–7 minutes per share (depending on how many sign up).
For example:
If you have one experience under 10 years and another over 11 years, you’ll have 5–7 minutes in each segment.
If you have two experiences under 10 years and one over 11 years, you’ll have 5–7 minutes for two shares in Part One, and another 5–7 minutes in Part Two.
Following the sharing and a lunch break, we’ll continue in circle with: 🌕✨ Mística Tribu ✨🌕
We are looking forward to see you in the circle of prayer, connection, wisdom and music.
An Invitation to the Singing Circle of Authenticity.
You are lovingly invited to enter the sacred space of Mística Tribu —
a circle of souls, a living altar of sound, where voices rise like prayers, and vibration becomes transformation.
In this gathering, we remember the ancient ways —
where singing was ceremony,
movement was medicine,
and breath was the doorway to the unseen.
🌀 Mística Tribu is not a performance.
It is a natural experience .
A space where each voice becomes a thread in the cosmic weave.
Where silence speaks and rhythm guides us home.
and step into our essence together, in circle.
We begin with conscious breath to anchor the heart,
flow into movement to awaken the body temple,
and open the voice in sacred chant and spontaneous song.
To complete the ritual, we invite a Creative Jam
a playful, intuitive space to co-create, explore, and celebrate the magic we are becoming.
🕯 Bring your voice.
🕯 Bring your truth.
🕯 Bring your presence.
Mística Tribu awaits you
where music meets mystery,
and transformation sings through us all.

Interfaith Prayer and Community Gathering
First gathering of the community in the jungle was with participation of more than 50 people, coming with intention to be in prayer, unity and love.
Dear community elder and master kundalini yoga teacher Gurushabd shared his wisdom and led us in meditation. Reverends Yana and Rob Kippel shared the concept of interfaith, delivering guidance and prayers from selected traditions. Community participated in group exercises and shares, concluding the day with beautiful musical performance by Toygun Sözen, Kata, Claire and Poly.
All photos capturing the mood and magic of the gathering were taken by Ed Rebollo
This is a volunteer-led, non-profit gathering. All donations (after covering essential expenses) are being used to support repairs and restoration of the Casa Blanca, our beloved hosting space in the jungle.
We extend our deepest thanks to the guests, musicians, volunteers, and our community for co-creating this heartwarming experience together.
